My responsibility as an equipment washer and detailer is to go through all equipment that comes into the shop that is broken, going to auction, or going back to the dealer for warranty work. I'm responsible for pulling all tin wear, belly pans, and lifting cabs to clean the equipment from head to toe, so we can make repairs. It's my responsibility to clean the cab interiors, replace, and order all broken parts inside the cabs. I also do pre-equipment inspections and make a list of visible repairs and broken welds. I also have a wash truck that I take to job sites to clean radiators on scrapers, dozers, and excavators.
Laborer - My responsibilities include, but are not limited to, cleaning shops, loading and unloading trailers, and helping mechanics and welders. Moving equipment in and out of shops, snow removal, cleaning ditches, and driving all equipment after repairs are made to check for leaks, etc.
Parts runner: my responsibility as a parts runner is to run parts to job sites, and pick up parts from vendors. Create P.O. work orders and maintain a solid working relationship with all vendors and supervisors.
