Was responsible for the preservation, maintenance, and expansion of the Town’s systems. Also maintained Town parks and greenways. Fixed water leaks and paved roads, attained flagger certification and class B CDL License, also operated heavy equipment such as (but not limited to) backhoe, trackhoe, dumptruck, etc. During Hurricane Helene I worked during the storm overnight and for months operated in a chainsaw crew to clear roads for emergency vehicles and help residents evacuate.
