Garrett Swicegood

I have been working as a landscaper since I was ten years old and became a professional landscaper at the age of eighteen. Being a landscaper my whole life has instilled some very valuable characteristics within me. These characteristics include being hardworking, having a keen sense of professionalism, knowing how to handle stressful situations, etc. I am currently in my sophomore year at Blue Ridge Community College and will finish this coming spring of 2024. I am pursuing a career in mechanical engineering because I have a passion for how objects and parts operate and because I want to make the world a better place through engineering or make their day just a little better.

• Actively involved with Wildlife in Transylvania County.
• Actively involved with student ministry at Lake Hills Church in Arden, NC.

Education:

• Spring of 2023 Dean's List recipient with a 3.8 GPA.

Work:

• Lead project manager/landscaper at Affitti Properties, LLC.
