The last 15 years I have been working in the concert and special event lighting industry. In those years, I have learned how to work with multiple team members, most of which I have never met before. I have learned how to problem solve quickly and creatively while also keeping the entire site as safe as possible.
I have completed the radiography program at Tidewater Community College. My first year of clinicals was spent learning at Sentara Virginia Beach General, where I learned the ins and outs of how a hospital works, how a radiography department can flow, and how to handle high stress medical situations.
My second clinical rotation was spent at Chesapeake Regional hospital. Chesapeake Regional has helped me find my path in this new field that offers new and exciting professional challenges ahead. I have been employed as a Multi-modality technologist at Chesapeake Regional since June of 2024, working in MRI, CT, and Diagnostic radiography.
