I am going to focus mainly on my time at Duke Energy Because this is where I finished my apprenticeship out.
Duke has taught me so much about linework, safety, and has provided so many great relationships in this industry.
Duke has allowed me to compete in the international lineman's rodeo and I am currently the safety chair of 2024 for our area 231 and am giving safety presentations twice a month.
Working with Duke in asheville has provided loads of work experience with the amount of diverse conditions we have as far as down town such as elaborate 3 phase banking, over head and under ground construction and switching. All the way to remote inaccessible jobs that require helicopters and track machines to set poles.
All this being said I love working for
Duke but have been curious about job opportunities on the west coast.
