  • Built Emergency Website to keep residents informed of important events as well as fillable forms for Individual Safe Room Registration and Flood Plains permits.
  • Revamped the County Emergency Operations Plan to include Courthouse evacuation procedures, Tornado drills, fire drills, live shooter, and lock-down incidents.
  • Worked with all elected officials to brings a county-wide alerts system, and build the alert system to use for all county employees and offices.
  • Supervised the EMPG for the county as well as completed grants for the City of Duncan and for four years was the Emergency Manager for the City of Duncan as well.
  • Taught water and flood safety in all county schools.
  • Taught CPR for county employees.
  • Revamped the Emergency Operations Center with one-touch screens as well as have monitors installed on all three floors of the County Court house for weather and emergency messages.
  • Oversaw several disasters that Stephens County was involved in as well as being the contact point for the fire and emergency services when additional assistance is needed.
