CAD/CAM and solid works
I'm an experienced aircraft mechanic and fabricator and familiar with many aspects of the aerospace industry. From basic maintenance to complete turbine engine overhauls tear down to test run. Basic engineering, machine work and welding to quality control and management.
Primary duties include ensuring all technicians and mechanics work is being done correctly and in accordance with proper reference. Auditing work orders to ensure all sign offs are correct and contain all pertinent information and references and all FAA required paper work is included and complete. Also approving technicians for return to service and giving a final ok to close on panels etc.
Maintained and inspected Twin Otter DHC-6 aircraft. Duties included; Following manufacturer's inspection program to ensure all required inspections were performed on time and all required maintenance and repairs were completed.
Equipment integration and installation;
Designed and fabricated mounting fixtures for various customer supplied aerial survey equipmen, completed engineering drawings and submitted to FAA for approval.
Turbine overhaul shop; Completed turbine engine tear down, cleaning, inspection repair and return to service for Pratt and Whitney pt-6 engines.
Aircraft welding and mach work including Tig welding and lathe, mill, solid works etc.
Traveled with the aircraft to provide customer and aircraft support and ensure mission success.
Was responsible for identifying structural defects and damage, identifying appropriate repairs, bidding the job and performing repairs. After completion I would ensure the correct references were utilized and all materials, fasteners and procedures were correct. Airract included; Boeing 727, 737, 747, 757.
