Dedicated and passionate about the well being of both my staff and the Lunchroom for which I am put in charge of. If it needs to get done I react and act upon it immediately. Teamwork is a must, if a team sees their manager working along with them it brings a higher morale and that casts a positive shadow upon his or her team. I am up for any challenge that may come my way so that wherever my path may lead me to success is certain. What I bring to the table is dedication and the motivation to succeed. The understanding of how to control the cost of sales, labor, and semi's. But what makes a good manager is to not only be able to lead but to also follow because there's always someone above you. I strive to build a great team by developing them through proper training and consistent follow-up. Jump-start meetings before each shift is a great way to get everyone on your team involved in the business. Thru progression brings success. I believe in moving forward by setting goals and letting your team know how the business is progressing. This lets them feel they are more than just employees but a vital part of the operation. When I say manage my lunchroom I not only take care of the daily operations but I also assist in the security and safety of each student. From day one I introduce myself to each classroom that enters and they know the expectations in the lunchroom. My students know they can come to me or my team for almost anything. In the mornings I am at the front doors to greet each and every student as well as the parents. We at Brennemann work together to address and defuse any situation that may arise. I personally have had a few situations from upset cluster students to students fighting over relationships. There is always a way to defuse a situation. Whether it is just by listening to the student or person, or simply separating the parties to come to a solution. As in any position respect is earned. Sometimes just by listening and respecting what a person has to say can defuse a situation quickly. I have found that acting hardcore is not always the answer.
