  • Administered 22,411 vaccines to over 18,500 active duty, retiree, and dependent beneficiaries while also assisting in the management and inventory of over $2 million worth of vaccinations. Responsible for training 18 staff members from 2017-2019 in vaccine administration and documentation with 100% competency compliance. Successfully leading 10 core staff members and 3 nurses in the daily operations of 2 immunizations clinics and multiple base-wide shot exercises, with command medical readiness at 99.4% at time of transfer.
  • General surgery training representative for 25 active duty and civilian personnel and successfully raising training readiness from 57% compliance to 95% compliance. As well as scheduled 320 appointments and performed 500 patient assessments in support of 1,340 patients for 10 general surgery providers with zero discrepancies or delays in care, resulting in patient satisfaction to increase from 50% to 93% between July 2019- July 2020.
  • Aided in the management of $4 million worth of medical equipment for 2nd Medical Battalion and was team leader for the set up and tear down of 4 Forward Resuscitative Surgery System tents in 3 separate locations throughout a 6 week multinational exercise. Also training 18 marines from Combat Logistics Battalion 2 in combat trauma and IV administration, significantly increasing combat efficiency and medical capability of 2 separate battalions.
  • Managed 510 hours of medical response capabilities in support of various unit training exercises while attached to 3rd Amphibious Assault Battalion Company D, ensuring the Company’s ability to seamlessly complete all required training from 1st Marine Expeditionary Force. As well as facilitating 2 Combat Lifesaver classes qualifying 26 marines and enhancing the medical capability of 1st Marine Expeditionary Force. Also leading 2 sailors in assisting 4 medical providers in 312 patient encounters and supervised 3 medical standdowns that resulted in total force readiness improving from 77% to 94%.
