Summary

I bring an unusually broad and diverse background that makes me exceptionally well-qualified for a Job Coach position. Throughout my career, I have worked with students, adult learners, employers, job seekers, and incarcerated men and women preparing to reenter society as well as individuals facing significant barriers to employment.

Helping people overcome those barriers and achieve meaningful, long-term employment has become one of the most rewarding aspects of my professional career.

To expand employment opportunities, I traveled throughout Oklahoma recruiting felon-friendly employers willing to provide second-chance employment opportunities, resulting in successful partnerships across the state.

In addition, I organized the first-ever job fair held behind prison walls, bringing employers from across Oklahoma together to interview offenders preparing for release. This groundbreaking initiative connected employers with qualified job candidates while providing incarcerated individuals with hope, confidence, and a pathway toward successful reentry in the workforce.

My experience has allowed me to view workforce development from both the employer's and the job seeker's perspective, giving me the ability to build strong employer relationships while coaching individuals to recognize their strengths, overcome obstacles, and achieve lasting employment.
