I am G. Burgess Gbelee, Jr., a medical laboratory technologist and field epidemiologist. A medical laboratory technologist is dedicated to delivering accurate data to physicians regarding patients' conditions and informing policymakers about prevalent diseases in the community, enabling them to make informed decisions in the field of healthcare. A field epidemiologist is responsible for detecting and dealing with epidemics. The interests of a Medical Laboratory Technologist and Field Epidemiologist encompass a wide range of areas, including but not limited to disease detection, outbreak investigation, molecular biology, microbiology, immunology, data analysis, scientific communication, and research, among others.
