  • Oversee the Santa Ana Community College CalWORKs work study program
  • CalWORKs students are government assisted students receiving cash aid assistance; our program supports students reaching self-sufficiency
  • Revamped the Job Developer/CalWORKs position after it had been vacant for more than a year
  • This required complete redevelopment of the program, strategizing on building partnerships across campus, and gaining student interest to work on campus
  • Sole recruiter in building on and off campus partnerships to expand the work study program and build opportunity for CalWORKs students to obtain professional growth
  • Marketing the benefits of partnership such as our program’s 75% coverage of student income and benefits
  • Conduct orientations, intakes, and discuss career opportunity and professionalism with potential work study students
  • Coaching students through unmet need, time management, and communication skills as their work study role requires connecting with myself, their supervisors, and case managers
  • Line of communication between new work study sites
