This was an end-to-end greenfield implementation project, and I joined from its inception. My role began with conducting demos for business users to explain the MDG process and collaborating with them to design solutions aligned with their existing processes running on other online systems. I was involved in all key solutioning activities, including creating data-mapping documents, preparing functional designs, designing and configuring workflows and BRF+ rules, and ensuring all requirements were accurately translated into the system. I also performed solution testing, supported and coordinated UAT and SIT cycles, delivered client demos, and contributed to a smooth go-live with zero critical issues.

• Led requirements gathering and delivered SAP MDG-M solutions for Material Master data governance.
• Lead workflow customizations and configuration process with the team
• Acted as a client-facing Material Master Lead, partnering with business stakeholders to steer requirements in the right direction and ensuring alignment with SAP MDG standards and governance.
• Delivered demos to the business process team showcasing the product/process developed in alignment with their requirements.
• Created functional designs and collaborated with development/security teams for roles, authorizations, and configuration.
• Debugged code and collaborated with the development team to identify issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Led SIT, EIT, and UAT testing phases ensuring on-time defect resolution.
• Utilized MDG interfaces, IDoc processing, and ABAP debugging to streamline data loads.

This was a support project in which the implementation had been completed by another company, and our team took over the product after go-live. Numerous issues were raised post–go-live, and in my role as a techno-functional MDG Consultant, I successfully analyzed and resolved them in a timely manner. Once the system stabilized, I identified several opportunities for process enhancements—particularly within the consolidation process—and implemented solutions that significantly improved business efficiency.

• Managed ServiceNow incident resolution, ensuring SLA adherence.

• As an MDG Technical Consultant, debugged incident-raised issues, proposed effective solutions, and implemented the required code changes upon business approval.

This was my first MDG project, where I joined during the UAT phase after the implementation had been completed. I quickly learned the end-to-end process with support from the team and collaborated closely with business users to execute test cases and assist them in resolving issues during testing. I also worked with the security team to define and assign the appropriate roles, ensuring that users could perform their tasks without access-related issues.

Worked as an Ariba Buying and Invoicing Functional Consultant, supporting the team in defining use cases, performing configurations, and executing testing to ensure all business requirements were met.

• Delivered Ariba Buying & Invoicing solutions in 20+ countries.
• Managed Ariba-S/4HANA and OpenText invoice/document archiving integration.
• Supported post-Go-Live hypercare and contributed to SAP team leadership initiatives.

This was a support project for a company supplying energy across multiple European countries. I worked as a Senior ABAP Development Consultant, providing technical support for issue resolution and developing new reports and solutions that enhanced operational efficiency. My contributions helped streamline business processes and ensure smooth day-to-day system performance.

• Developed Gateway services in ISU and SAP CRM systems.
• Delivered enhancements, BADIs, BAPIs, and workflows.
• Mentored new joiners in ABAP development best practices.

This was my first project as an SAP Consultant, where I had the opportunity to work across multiple modules, including HR, MM, SRM, and PM. I gained hands-on experience with a wide range of technical objects such as reports, function modules, classes, interfaces, IDocs, Web Dynpro, workflows, and OData services. This exposure provided a strong foundational understanding of SAP processes and greatly contributed to my ability to quickly adapt and grow in my future SAP career.
