Responsible for maintaining video delivery over Legacy, EPON and R-PHY platforms. Maintaining and troubleshooting provider source equipement to include Satellite receivers, Tandbergs, and Metro E circuits.

• Performed tasked to migrate video content from end-of-life devices over to MOONSHOT Streamers.
• Troubleshooting network and various devices to ensure video content delivery for subscribers
• Maintained and configured monitoring devices to ensure quick recognition and resolutions for video outages
• Completed video configuration for R-PHY nodes and corrected misconfigured nodes during test and turn up

Frontline position for recognizing and repairing outages and impairments within the Comcast footprint

• Responsible for locating and triaging and repairing network impairments
• Assisted in troubleshooting and repairing network impairments from the headend to the CRAN links
• Identified and repaired CMTS, transport and video outages and impairments helping to reduce time that subscribers experience negative experiences with Comcast services.
• Consistently met and exceeded position metrics, which reflected the timely way impairments and outages were resolved once assigned.
• Worked with HFC Desk to ensure proper escalation for plant and network issues.

Responsible for maintaining physical layer from hubs to nodes. Maintain and troubleshoot TV providers source equipment for video services.

• Instrumental in implementing the migration of video services to the edge (Hubs) in the Atlanta market. This project was the beginning of the implementation of Comcast’s current content delivery network.
• Installing and maintaining Metro E circuits for business customers.
• Troubleshooting impairments that affect high speed internet, video, telephone services
• Required transport, networking, and RF maintenance skills
• Assisted in training new Headend technicians ensuring best practices were passed to maintain a level of consistent Hub and Headend management
