During times I was working part-time as a temp and when I was between jobs I was: earning an Associates degree in Communication Design, obtaining professional certifications - Graphic Design, Paralegal, Desktop Publishing & Web Design, Microsoft Operations Specialist (Access and Outlook 2013; Word, Excel, PowerPoint 2016, 2013, 2010, 2007), completing a business training program, becoming a licensed NY State Notary, taking other continuing education courses, caring for my grandparents part-time, working on freelance writing projects, and volunteering. During these times I was committed to personal growth and able to orient myself towards professional development while seeking full-time permanent paid employment. I am well rounded from working in different industries and consider myself a life-long learner.
