As a first-generation Latino, I have developed a strong work ethic, determination, and a deep appreciation for the value of hard work. I take pride in overcoming challenges and continuously pushing myself to grow both personally and professionally. Through my internship at the Academies, I gained valuable hands-on experience while strengthening my communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills in a professional environment.
Playing American football has taught me the importance of teamwork, discipline, accountability, and leading by example. Working alongside teammates toward a common goal has helped me become a stronger leader and a better collaborator in any setting.
In addition, working in my family's business has given me real-world experience in responsibility, customer service, and managing daily business operations. Running my own photography and photo editing business has further developed my creativity, time management, attention to detail, and ability to work independently while meeting clients' expectations. Together, these experiences have shaped me into a dependable, hardworking individual who is eager to contribute, learn, and succeed in any workplace.
I earned 2nd Place Overall in the Level Up Robotics Competition across Loudoun County after eight months of dedicated preparation and practice. Working as part of a three-person team, I collaborated closely with my teammates to develop effective strategies, solve technical challenges, and perform under pressure. Our team placed 1st in Driving, 2nd in Coding, and 2nd in Team Driving, demonstrating our technical skills, teamwork, and consistency throughout the competition. This experience strengthened my problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and commitment to achieving success through preparation and collaboration.
