  • Coordinated with Thompson tire (EAL's tire retreading contractor), in replacing rotable, worn, blown out tires, (1 for 1) daily.
  • Coordinated with the brake shop in the effort to maintain sufficient inventory for the airlines needs locally and stations assigned to the Miami Brakes & Wheel Shop.
  • Worked with the Miami AOG Desk in providing expedited shipments systemwide.
  • Replaced used rotable wheel assemblies & brakes and replacing with retreaded wheel assemblies and remanufactured brakes to local hangers.
  • With the use of fork lifts and electrical overhead lifts, I loaded wheel assemblies and aircraft brakes into containers for wide body flights and onto cargo carts for narrow body flights with clearly labeled freight tags. Delivered essential import and export documentation with shipment to air freight for international flights.

  • Worked as an expeditor at the Material Distribution Center/AOG Desk. Maintained effective team communication with Stock Clerks systemwide when dealing with AOG situations.
  • Arranged AOG shipments to airline stations systemwide
  • Answered inquiries concerning inventory of aircraft parts located at the EAL Miami Maintenance base. Due to the high influx of aircraft parts and company materials, I was also assigned to search for received but unbinned aircraft parts at the receiving warehouse.
  • Coordinated with the Logistics Department and aircraft maintenance in providing time critical parts from aircraft in heavy maintenance. Parts were cannibalized or 'robbed' from said aircraft. Parts were then tested for reliability, and packed into custom engineered cases made specifically for that part.
  • Assigned as a aircraft parts picker using various types of equipment, from pallet jacks, motorized electric flatbed carts, to Power Stocker lifts. I operated computerized automated parts picker for small fasteners to the use of pneumatic tubes to deliver parts between warehouses.
  • I drove different types of fork lifts, from LPG & electric powered warehouse forklifts to heavy duty forklifts capable of lifting a RB211 aircraft engine onto a flatbed semi truck.
  • Assigned to cover Stock Clerks in different areas, those included hanger shops, and line maintenance.
  • Assigned as an AOG runner to deliver aircraft parts to the next available flight, and prepare parts for shipment by labeling and packing time sensitive shipments.
