He has taken responsibility for functional working review of Structures Compliance BPSMs relative to ATC/TC change activity (BPM Section 15.1) and managing the weekly functional review for the Structures SAW Chief Engineer.

  • Supported various operator discussions - Ryan Air, Qatar Airways, and Turkish Airlines
  • Cross-model, complex compliance risk for multiple programs related to de-escalation of baseline maintenance tasks post fatigue threshold and a related noncompliance N23-86.
  • He successfully led the release of BCA-Struct-SAW-24-003 which ensures that the deliverables we issue to our customers provides them with the necessary information to allow them to confidently maintain compliance as their fleet ages and approaches fatigue limits.
  • Additionally George has integrated and drafted Struct-SAW-24-004 in routing for signature, which will provide instructions to each program to harmonize language in their ICA documents.

  • Established methodologies to develop 777X Floor/Frame Load (777X adopted 787 Cargo Floor Style/Containers/Pallets individual restrained, resulted in thousands lbs. weight savings). Worked closely with Top Program Associated Technical Fellow.
  • Developed the fuselage 777-9 frame loads for cargo load cases and Load Cards. Key new process for the program which was utilizing a cargo system similar to the 787 but with an aluminum fuselage.

  • Contributed in implementation of 2 additional LD3 Containers (Trade Study) to support Floor/Frame Loads release in March 2015.
