As Lead Mechanic I advised and often assisted other junior mechanics on how properly Diagnose,Repair, and Maintain all the City's vehicle and pieces of equipment.
For example: Studying and Advising on Complex Wiring Schematics, Overseeing and Guiding other Mechanic's on how to best prevent repeated COMEBACKS .
Negotiated and Overseen all outside parts,and repair Venders in order to get City the best RATES often under (State Contracted).
Input and tracked Repair Work Orders
Prepared and submitted all information, records, and photos needed to Retire and Sale vehicles/equip.
Managed workflow effectively by prioritizing tasks based on urgency, complexity, and available resources at hand.
Provided technical expertise to junior mechanics, enhancing their skills and boosting overall team capabilities.
Improved team productivity through effective delegation of tasks and clear communication among mechanics.
Reduced downtime for repairs by maintaining a well-organized inventory of parts and tools necessary for various jobs.
Accomplishments: A.S.E cert< truck brakes,truck hvac,auto brakes,auto hvac,engine performance,electric systems
CDL licensed, trained on propane vehicles fluent with: Cummins Incite, Jpro, Allison, Mack, and wiring schematics
I have know problem doing any repairs on (brakes, axles, steering, engines, and transmissions)
Completed City's Leadership Training through Troy University, along with being a member of the City Administrator (KAY LOVES COMPASS GROUP); it was a group of 1 leader from each department to help the City be more Proactive in retaining EMPLOYEES such as EARN BOARD, HAPPY NINJA. I was also one of the founding of both BOARDS. "i will explain".
In some cases conducted quality inspections of completed work, ensuring all repairs met industry standards and customer satisfaction levels.
Received a lot of leadership and ethics training.
Developed strong working relationships with other City Employees, ensuring open lines of communication and addressing any concerns promptly to maintain trust and satisfaction from our Fleet Dept.
