• To encourage students to read more, I would have them read for 30-45 minutes 1 or 2 times a week and they would earn stickers for their books! Both myself, the other Teacher, and a Volunteer would listen to students read 30-45 minutes. The other days of the week they spend 30 minutes rotating books and learning to read every word for sticker book day. It is amazing how much they comprehend.
