I had the wonderful opportunity to work as an RA for Biola; a job where I helped foster community, manage conflicts between residents, and act as a counselor and friend to the students on my hall.
I worked for a classical homeschooling community teaching Logic, honors Middle School English Literature, and classical Latin. I organized and lessoned planned for my students as well as led activities to help deepen their understanding. This position included much one-on-one attention to students and parents to ensure an intentional educational experience for each member of the class.
I worked for forest home in their Child Care Assistant program, leading a cabin of girls each week through camp activities, conflicts, worship, and discussions. This opportunity allowed me to care and mentor students from many walks of life.
I worked for a private family offering services one-on-one to their seven year old daughter, teaching her all her subjects. Part of this work included developing projects, leading exercise routines, music lessons, cooking lessons and art projects. I also spent considerable time teaching their daughter reading and spelling as well as math.
