"I am in search of a rock star events intern...Someone who is dynamic, innovative, driven, passionate and a natural leader who identifies and believes in our core values". I don't know if I could have been described in any other way. After reading your core values, I can identify with every single one. Doing the right thing, Problem solving/taking action, and Creating WOW factors are values that excite and motivate me, but to answer your question. The Core value that most stood out to me was, "We use open, real communication". This value resonated with me because I strongly believe that open and clear communication lets us avoid unnecessary problems and lets us focus on projects and events that are our priority #1. For me, Creating memorable and magical events has become a passion that I plan on achieving by working until the job is complete, not when the day is over.
The Student Council I was elected to served as the governing Council for the school but was mostly focused on the planning of School events In an average School year, my council was responsible for the planning and production of 15-25 events ranging from small to full student involvement (1200 students) During my 4 years in the council I was the head/leader of multiple committees s(sometimes at the same time) and in my final year was responsible for the council, made up of roughly 35 students Creation of each committee which involved 4-5 students each, constant check ups with committees, contacting vendors/performers, creating decorations/ performances and coordination with other clubs and post event reflections were all things I was responsible for as Student Body President
I find the stress that comes with events exciting and it drives me to give the the best to the people who attend the events
I am a big people person and love connecting with the people around me
My time in High School and the years of customer service form the jobs I've had allow me to come into this with professionalism and an understanding of what this job could entail
