Over 30 years’ experience in architectural, inspection, construction, and environmental consulting services. With 20 years in management capacity Responsibilities have included inspection, design, specifying and project management from single family housing and multi-family residential projects. On contract to FEMA as a disaster property insurance adjuster in Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina recovery effort. Tasks included performing interviews and conducting on-site real and personnel property inspections with FEMA lap-top computer. Detail estimates were provided of all construction elements. Cleared with background and drug testing. Performed over 600 property inspections on wind and water multi-family and commercial properties in Gulf Coast area of Mississippi. Part of re-building effort after contract assignment with FEMA providing Insurance related construction as State licensed Contractor, Affordable new homes, Historical preservation projects and Light Commercial New Construction. Provided contract documents including working drawings, specifications, cost estimates for numerous organizations including commercial, industrial, multi-family, residential and historical properties. Work included field inspections for code compliance, cost estimates for rehab with environmental issues. Performed Construction and Environmental Services with major government entities including FEMA, Public Housing Authorities, Dept. of HUD and non-profit housing agencies receiving federal funding. The unique construction and environmental experience with Private sector and HUD projects lend a level of expertise to successfully accomplish rehab / new construction and environmental related projects. Extensive experience and knowledge of government regulations in zoning, acquisition, construction and environmental issues in lead-based paint, mold and asbestos testing and abatement projects.
