  • Troubleshoot and repair generators.
  • Use Diacom software to troubleshoot and repair engine issues.
  • Troubleshoot outdrives, pressure test and repair leaking outdrives, replace raw water impellers and complete pumps if necessary.
  • Troubleshoot and repair marine heads.
  • Install electronics such as stereo systems, vhf radios, satellite systems, and autopilots.
  • Replace underwater gear such as props, struts, shafts, and rudders from running aground and doing an alignment after the repairs.
  • Replace strut bearings, and in some cases rudder port bearings.
  • Troubleshoot and repair or replace steering systems.
  • Pull engines, tear them down to long block and send out for rebuild. After they return, reinstall components and run on the floor to check for leaks and set timing, and reinstall rebuilt engine or engines.
  • Install bow and stern thrusters.
  • Preventative maintenance items such as tune ups and oil changes.

  • Followed safety procedures to minimize risks to personnel, vessels and equipment during repairs.
  • Ran forklifts to put boats in, and pull them out of the water.
  • Ran 40 and 70 ton hoists to pull boats out for service and storage, and launch the boats when repairs were complete and to begin the boating season.
  • Run equipment such as conolift trailers, minderman trailers, and kline trailers to move boats around and block them for repairs and storage.
  • Winterize boats and get them ready again in the spring.
  • Cosmetic and structural fiberglass repairs.
  • Buff and wax.
