CARPENTRY.

• Ensured accuracy when reading blueprints and plans to determine materials needed.
• Very experienced with measuring and operating all power tools, (saws, drills, hand and floor sanders, grinders, planer, etc).
• I've framed new construction offices and barrier walls and roughed in doorways with steel and wood studs.
• Demo walls and reframe ares to accommodate moving sink drains, new electrical wiring for wall plugs and copper pipe for water to sinks and coffee makers.
• Cut door trim, window trim, wall cove base and install with brad nailer and glue.

PLUMBING

• Installed and repaired plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, faucets, p traps and moving sink drains.
• Replaced faulty valves, faucets, washers, gaskets and seals.
• Assembled fittings such as elbows, tees and valves into a system.

DRYWALL INSTALLER AND FINISHER

• Measured and cut drywall sheets to fit into wall frame.
• Install sheetrock on walls and ceilings using screws or adhesives.
• Use power tools such as drills, saws to cut holes in walls for electrical wiring or plumbing lines.
• Install corner bead and trim pieces prior to the application of texture coating.
• Drywall finish with taping mud over butts, seams and joints with a hawk end trowel.
• Apply several layers of joint compound in order to create a smooth finish.
• Spray texture if requested on scope of work blueprint.
• PAINTER
• Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, filling holes and cracks with putty or plaster.
• Select appropriate tools and equipment such as brushes, rollers, ladders, scaffolding, as required for each job.
• Cover floors before prepping, priming and painting walls and ceilings to protect them from paint.
• Paint walls and other surfaces using traditional methods and worked efficiently to complete jobs within required timeframes.
• FLOORING
• Over five years of experience using floor removal machine for scraping. Level floor with float, square the room up, snap a line, and apply adhesive for LVT and carpet squares and lay the floor.
