As an Amazon picker, your main responsibility will center around gathering products for order fulfillment from your supervisor.

In addition to this core function, you will also be responsible for labeling certain types of merchandise and ensuring that adequate stock levels are being maintained.

The primary responsibilities of Amazon order pickers include:

  • Locating merchandise to fulfill picking tickets;
  • Labeling specific inventory types;

In other words, an Amazon stower refers to one whose profession is to carry out a variety of daily operations such as replenishing shelves with product, ensuring that inventory is efficiently managed and well-maintained, and providing excellent customer service for the Amazon organization.

He/she is responsible for ensuring that various items are in the right place by scanning them and physically placing them into their bar-coded locations to make them easy for customers to find.

One of the important tasks that are executed by Amazon stowers is to supply and/or replenish shelves with products, maintain and manage inventory, and provide excellent customer service.
They may also be required to work collaboratively with every other department in the Amazon store.

  • (1) The Regional Director of USIDHR is responsible for managing the USDIHR Chapter in that
    country/region. The regional chapter is an unincorporated chapter that has no separate legal
    existence. Regional Directors shall have the highest standards of morale and ethics,
    professional behavior, and be loyal to the organization. Regional directors shall not engage in
    fraudulent behavior and always act in the best interest of USIDHR.
    (2) The Regional Director of the US Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights (hereinafter named
    “USIDHR”) is the name given to the individual in charge of the Regional Chapter in a specific
    area where the activities provided in the bylaws of USIDHR are to be accomplished.
    (3) The Regional Director of USIDHR is the person designated and accepted by USIDHR through
    its leadership, who has as purpose to promote, sustain and develop USIDHR's relations and
    interests in that country.
    (4) The Regional Director of USIDHR can be a U.S. citizen, a citizen of the country/state for which
    was opened the USIDHR Chapter, can be a resident in that country or a citizen of other
    nationality who conducts activities that demand his/her presence in that territory.
    (5) There shall be only one Regional Chapter within a State or a country.
    (6) The Regional Chapter shall be considered an independent contractor, and nothing in this
    Bylaws shall be construed as creating or establishing the relationship as between employer and
    employee. Both parties acknowledge that the Regional Chapter is not an employee of USIDHR
    for state or federal tax purposes. The Regional Chapter shall at all times have complete control
    over the manner in which activities are conducted and the times at which the services will be
    performed. He/She shall have no authority to enter into contracts on behalf of USIDHR, its
    officers, agents and employees.
