Worked in the warehouse unloading trailers and boxes of newsprint rolls. Set rolls on the press floor for the press runs. Other duties were sweeping and mopping the place area. Keeping the press room clean and getting rid of all trash, disposing of waste ready to be recycled. I was then promoted to work as a pressman operator. Duties were to set up the press and to understand press layouts, operate the folder, set ink and register running reels, making pasters, platting up the paper rolls. Also, check and to perceive all that pertains to press operations. Maintain good housekeeping and organized with my responsibilities. I'm thorough and accurate with my work. I have good attendance and punctuality. I have had very dependable assistance. I always try to do my best.
