JIT – Ford Bronco 2021-23:
- Problem solve cases that led to reworks to meet customer specifications.
- Built all variant seats for customer and upper management reviews (1st & 2nd Row Seats).
- In charge of the Comfort Series for different project milestones.
- Interacting directly with the customer regarding design and validation information.
- H-point & Scanning using FaroArm, Romer Arm Hexagon.
- Collect raw data to put into standardized reports for all parties.
- Training operators on the line to build seats as intended.
- Interacting directly between Lear Plant, Lear Corporate and customer to solve issues that will benefit all parties.
- Instructed global work with weekly follow up meeting to discuss feedback.
- Manage cost saving projects.
Materials:
- Logistics for transportation of materials through semis or airplanes.
- In charge of making a master spreadsheet of the details from all the materials that were transported in and out of North America plants by weekly reports and making summaries every month on ways to save money.
Quality Product Safety:
- Worked with DFMEA & PFMEA (Design/Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis).
- Proposed Quality Depart suggestions on how LEAR should change from old FMEA Handbook regarding a new released book talking about D/PFMEA.
- Checked report of line of operations in South America to make sure all machinery used to build seats were safety checked, and that met the specific requirements.
Comfort and Test Lab
- Worked on BPDs (Body Pressure Distribution) later conducted clinics regarding comfort to see improvement if possible by locating hardpoints.
- Worked with CAD projects for comparison analysis of actual scans with STO to measure discrepancies which I would present to the team.
- Recollected data from benchmarking focusing on comfort and seat design.
- Performed multiple testing: chuck and deflection, efforts, heating systems, cup testing, cycling, locating H-point, and climatic chamber tests.
- Wrote work instructions and test reports of department.
