Became a Cadet Captain in Civil Air Patrol until I left for college in August of 2015. From 2011 to 2015 I was the Cadet Safety Officer and Cadet Aerospace Officer, during which time I was responsible for monthly safety briefings for the entire squadron in topics ranging from PPE, hot and cold weather safety, sanitation, and chemical safety.
