My daily routine used to start doing the pre trip, make sure I have all truck documents and VCR, checking for any back order I may have from the past day and start working from there.
Then starting the route, if a customer resident have any questions I'm glad to help and make sure the resident learn any issue they may have.
Make at least 2 loads to the landfill during the day, making sure before I go to the yard and park the truck, I usually do as pre trip, checking if there is no leaking sounds or flat tires due to the weather.
Finally and safely do a post trip at the yard, and if the truck needs a repair, I will make sure I'm writing up the problem.
