Gia Jones

Throughout my time in high school, I have withheld duties as a student, an athlete, and as a active member of Key Club. As a student-led organization whose goal is to encourage leadership through helping others, this goal became mine as well entering the position of Vice-President for Colony High School. While I officially joined second semester of my junior year, I have aided in a multitude of projects offered by Key Club throughout my high school career. Through my experiences in Key Club, I've gained a plethora of knowledge in helping others. I would also like to note, during my time in Key Club I have helped orchestrate volunteer events, hold food, and winter clothing drives, and fundraised to have 4 people from our school attend DCON 2024.

• Developed leadership skills in younger members by serving as a mentor and role model.
• Established strong partnerships with local nonprofits to expand project offerings within our community service portfolio.
• Boosted fundraising efforts for community causes through targeted campaigns and initiatives.
• Oversaw subcommittees focused on various aspects of club management such as marketing, event planning, or volunteer coordination.
