I hope my passion for supporting children and the community is evident in my educational choices, community service, and work experience. My goal is to pursue a healthcare career so I may continue to serve others.

PND Varsity Swim Team

• Varsity team as a freshmen and sophomore. Placed in top 4 on 6 state sectional relay teams. Placed top 8 in individual state sectional events.
• Event times in the top 5 of varsity team for 50 free, 50 back, 100 IM, and 100 free.
• As an experienced swimmer mentored high school swimmers new to the sport and modeled appropriate stroke technique, swim etiquette and sportsmanship.

Club Swim Team

• 12 years, year round club participation with practice 5-6 times a week.
• Two time individual county champion in 50 free and 50 back. Multiple regional state individual and relay top 5 places.

Beau Grant Foundation Suicide Prevention (30 hours)

• Camp counselor providing age appropriate activities and support for children 18 and under who have been impacted by suicide. Participate in community events, parades to advocate for suicide prevention and awareness.
• Elected president of the Beau Grant affiliate club at Peoria Notre Dame HS. Provide leadership and management of club goals, student outreach events and fundraising. Successfully implemented school 988 Crisis Line and campaign and promoted national mental health and suicide prevention month.

St. Thomas Catholic School After Care Program (60 hours)

• Provide supervision and home work assistance to elementary school students in after school program.
• Promote good behavior and ensure kids safety.
• While monitoring group interactions, I have been challenged to model age appropriate conflict resolution options.
• From my volunteer work and ability to form meaningful relationships with families, I have been hired to provide childcare for students at home as needed.

Library Assistant at Peoria Notre Dame High School (50 hours)

• Assistant to librarian
• Provide customer service, answer student questions
• Organize and locate library materials

Peoria Notre Dame Student Ambassador (25 hours)

• Selective application interview and election to the ambassador position
• Represent school and its values in community events
• Provide guidance to prospective students and their families
• Host events for local elementary school students
