  • Manages senior-level and Mid-level personnel working across local and international functions.
  • Trains and develops personnel to improve safety, employee relations and resolve IT and Finance systems issues.

  • Finished two years’ contract work integrating Hyperion to a new SAP ERP
  • This was working on HFM and FDM on version 11.1.2.3
  • It involved merging multiple ERP’s systems sources into one SAP source and aligning processes to properly address new business structures
  • I performed extensive technical training to the support team and administrators as well as the functional users
  • I migrated the whole of Hyperion infrastructure from a hosted site to the company’s virtual servers
  • It involved installing windows and Hyperion software and then migrating the Hyperion applications (HFM/FDM/FR) from the Oracle database deployment to Microsoft SQL server
  • At the end of my contract, I was kept as a technical support consultant for HFM, FDM, Financial Reports and smart view applications
  • This included managing data loads, consolidation processes, smart view usage as well as researching and fixing technical issues
  • This was done to transfer knowledge to the new team
  • I did help the IT team in managing their Disaster Recovery (DR) site for Hyperion infrastructure in a remote location using Virtual Machines

  • I also wrote Financial Reports, Smart View adhoc reports and Web Forms for the planning applications as requested by the users

  • Procured the windows servers based on specifications from Oracle, performed installations of the whole Hyperion infrastructure as well as Microsoft SQL Server Installation
  • I solely performed application installation, upgrades and applied Patches from versions 9.3 to 11.1.1.3 and some 11.1.1.4 as was needed by working closely with Oracle personnel and made sure that the Hyperion environment is as efficient as possible
  • I built and supported all Hyperion based financial applications at AEI
  • These were Financial Management (HFM), Data Management (FDM), Essbase, Planning, Hyperion Financial Reporting, Smart View for Office
  • Also, created SQL Databases, Essbase Data Load Rule files, Calculation Scripts, MAXL Scripts, Batch Scripts, Reports Scripts and Web Forms to help automate Hyperion data functions
  • I also experimented with ODI and MDX query scripting on version 11.1.2.3
  • I designed extensive Excel Macros under Smart View
  • This was to aid in creating Excel reports and data submission to Essbase cubes for our international planning users
  • Improved the Hyperion applications by writing external code in VB, VB Scripting, VB.Net, ASP.Net and batch thus increasing automation and support
