social studies. Students created and crafted all
materials, sets, and activities including purchasing a
ticket to America, shopping for supplies in the town
of Sutter’s Fort, panning for gold on the American
River, staging a meet-n-greet with some famous
49ers:Levi Strauss, John Sutter, and James Marshall.
