  • Led Section Team for ICIS and NMS state database management systems, supporting electronic reporting implementation and coordinating training for Wastewater Compliance Tracking section and data-entry staff. Served as GovDelivery e-mail system coordinator, assisted with program projects, represented section in EPA-ICIS meetings, and resolved data discrepancies as Echo Data Steward.
  • Coordinated Pretreatment and Biosolids Compliance, coding inspections, annual reports, and audits in ICIS. Managed submission of past due reports, tracked compliance statuses, reviewed inspections for completeness, and performed biosolids inspections at municipal treatment plants, while mapping all historical and active biosolids application sites statewide using ArcGIS.
  • Analyzed effluent violation reports from ICIS and ECHO for all major and minor facilities in assigned district monthly. Ensured accurate data for Quarterly Non-Compliance Report (QNCR) and NPDES Non-Compliance Report (NNCR), followed up on compliance issues, and presented findings at Level 1 Enforcement Review meetings.
  • Receive and review Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs) to determine if any enforcement is needed. Draft Notice of Violation letters for facilities out of compliance with the DMR reports.
  • Serve as the Section Training Officer and mentor for new and/or less-experienced Wastewater Compliance Tracking staff. Help new staff understand the Permitting and Enforcement roles and processes within the NPDES program and the WQD partnership with EPA, to include the pertinent state statutes and federal laws of their respective program areas. Provide recorded training sessions for a variety of section-specific topics. Recorded training sessions will directly assist new and/or less-experienced Wastewater Compliance Tracking staff. Served as Interim Section Supervisor during temporary leave absences of the Section Manager. Participate in cross-training assignments with other Sections within the Wastewater Group as assigned by the Section Manager or Group Manager.
  • Represent Oklahoma in the National Compliance Initiative group to reduce the national significant non-compliance rate within the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES).
  • Served on a National group to modernize EPA's ICIS database and National Enforcement Framework (NEF) tool.
