Valid Florida professional educator teaching certificate and certified Library Media Specialist , K-12. Additional subject areas include Educational Leadership, Reading, and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) endorsements. Currently earning endorsements in Civics Literacy and Literacy Micro-credentials. Nine years serving as the head librarian of an elementary school library; eight years on the Leadership Team; eight years serving as the director of a successful before/after school program; seven years as President of the Parent Teacher Organization; seven years as the Treasurer for the Parent Teacher Organization; fourteen years as a member of the School Advisory Council.

Organizational and transferrable leadership skills, successful classroom and library management, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills, and adherence to state policy and regulations as evidenced by receiving the highest score (highly effective) for nine consecutive years on the Florida DOE performance evaluation for school library media specialists.

Goal-oriented with a commitment to overall organization improvement demonstrated through involvement in various committees: Partners in Performance Committee (second year serving as a non union member to collaborate with union leaders and school administration to improve school policy and performance); Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports committee (4yrs).
