Can preform scanner start up /shutdown.

Utilize personal computer, printers or other necessary devices. Reviewing/ending and sending each study from Vista and Pacs immediately after scanning. Evaluate patients medical chart to ensure all necessary screening ,labs,xrays are ordered and preformed prior to appointment. Call patients with all information needed prior to arrival. Monitors scan parameters,select appropriate coils and patients positioning for all exams. Competent in anatomy appearance and pathology. Consult with Radiologist or ordering providers if any questions for regarding Inpatients ,stats or modifications needed for an exam. Monitor exams for any artifacts such as motion/other and repeat if necessary. Familiar with eGFR guideline requirements/risks for all patient allergies when administering contrast. Proficient in utilizing the ISTAT machine if labs needed. Complete MRI screening form to determine safety with all metallic metal implanted devices and get MRI clearance documentation as well . Familiar with all ACR guidelines regulations for the magnetic field as well as employees,patients

,and visitors entering the MRI zone areas. Maintain updated CPR certification to assists patient should any emergency arise during procedure or at facility. Preform stocking and inventory of supplies or other duties assigned. Work well independently as well with other technologist to carry out assignments. Treat all customers with compassion, respect and dignity to ensure a great experience at the facility.

• Only full time technologists that preforms all orthopaedic exams ordered in house as well as outside ordered exams. I currently work on a 1.5 Philips. I handle all administrative needs for the department, machine maintenance with the engineer when needed. I have trained several Prn employees as well. I am competent on EWorks computer systems and Medstrat Pacs systems.I just reaccredited the MRI department with the ACR in July 2023. I always provide excellent patient safety practices and privacy to ensure patients receive the best care. I have recognized by Doctors inside and outside our practice for my expertise in my field and attention to detail.

• Proficient in the operation of Seimens 1.5 magnet.
• Proficient with ISTAT Machine and contrast injector set up and usage.
• Proficient in scanning all MSK, MRA, Neuro, and Breast imaging, Breast Biopsies and several Breast research studies as well as Breast Accreditation.
• Proficient in IV skills.
• Proficient in using the computer systems such EPIC, PACS, and EFFO..
• Train new employees and was the charge tech at the facility.
• Ordered supplies and made staff schedules.
• Responsible fir the Accreditation with the ACR for MSK, Neuro, MRA, Body and Spine imaging.
