Supported individuals with special needs to be independent in the community and to find employment. Trained individuals to ride the public bus system, to shop for basics in a grocery store and how to practice safety while interacting in public. Consumer math was practiced on a daily basis as well as the practice of real questions asked in a job interview and the support of the individual during the interview process.

Supported team in daily operations and provided assistance with routine tasks.

Supported the Anchor Room teacher and staff on an as needed basis.

• Developed and implemented individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet diverse student needs.
• Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to assess student progress and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Fostered a supportive classroom environment that encouraged social, emotional, and academic growth.
• Trained and mentored new staff on effective teaching methodologies for special education students.
