Fuel Leak Troubleshooting and Repair (Beechcraft Fairchild Metroliner)

• Conduct a visual and tactile inspection of the fuel tanks, lines, fittings, caps, seals, access panels, and vent systems to determine the general area of the leak.
• Gained access to affected areas by removing panels, fairings, and interior components, per AMM procedures.
• Repaired or replaced defective components—including seals, fittings, cracked structures, and loose rivets—using OEM-approved materials and sealants.
• Reassembled all components to manufacturer specifications and completed thorough post-repair visual inspections.
• Collaborated with Part 135 maintenance teams to carry out major repairs, component replacements, and compliance-driven maintenance tasks, such as completely disassembling and reassembling landing gear assemblies on a Beechcraft 99. Removed and installed drag brace assemblies, actuators, wheels, and tires to support full landing gear inspections and overhauls.

• Performed inspections varying from 12 months, 1,200 hours, and 2,400-4,800 hour inspections, not including anything on CAMP on Lear 40 Aircraft.
• Removed various components, such as landing gear, horizontal stabilizer actuator, aileron drive supports, anti-ice manifolds, and many more.
• Occasional AOG, such as replacing a broken windshield in Page, Arizona, involves dealing with weather conditions, scheduled times, and a starter generator on a G200.
• Was responsible for servicing aircraft before flights, such as inflating tires if needed, filling the hydraulic reservoir, refilling oxygen bottles when low, checking oil, and downloading engine data.
• Lubricated shafts, bearings, and gears, to maintain optimal performance.
• Increased operational readiness of the aircraft fleet through the timely completion of scheduled maintenance tasks.
• Performed scheduled and unscheduled inspections to check the flight readiness of aircraft.
