- When I first started as a (temp) on December 18th, 2023. The B2 project had started, I was one of the chosen one for this project. At first, I was doing Laber work had to use pallet jacks to move product all around the floor in B2 . I wasn't able to operate any equipment until 3 months later because the process was slow to get certified, it was a mess in b2 there was mixed bins & the put away drivers would just throw any part in any ZSC location, which would make it difficult for outbound pickers to pick any product because would have to go through full pallets of different parts & sometimes were able to find it, in that case they would PDO the PICK or at sometimes they would find the part one or two locations over & it would be a waste of time, because depending on what kind of PICK can drop, like a DOWN, NFO, WAVE, etc... We want the customer to be satisfied & to receive their product. After all, ZSC locations were gone we created new locations that are CRA which stand for (Crate) meaning each CRA location can only have one part assigned to that specific Bin. Once I learn the SAP 08 system for AMAT I understood how to do Bin-to-Bin, make & delete locations, assign the specific part to location, how to use all T-codes, but I'm still learning something new every day. After the wall was taken down it was easier for us to move as a team, as an inventory team we have fixed almost every single Bin in B1 & B2. I have done cycle counts, audits, put ways, list goes on! I Work almost 2 months with no days off in B2 approve by Mark to ensure that we receive in buy-ahead product in order to continue building our strong relationship with our customer in Tracy.
- I had a project in kitting department on aisle 24, all of aisle 24 I had to bin all parts to new locations & delete locations cover the old location so that kitting would have space for their parts they had to create new locations in order for kitting department to bin them. Project was supposed to be for a month I made it happen in 1 week. I Love project & you learn from your mistakes because of course I had errors I had to fix & that's how you become better at what you do!
- I am receiving product from Manteca systemically, but that is physically not in our warehouse in Tracy. product will be shipped once racks in B2 get done, we will start to receive all the trucks to the dock door ensure that the parts we are getting in, are the same as our receiving documents that we have physically have. after that should be good to go into the new racks & start binning everything to a pickable location so that the outbound pickers can package & ship the product to our valuable customers!!!
