Dedicated and involved to the learning of future generations. It is of high importance to me, in order to cultivate an inclusive, safe, and welcoming environment. Ensuring equity, and high standards of achievement are embraced and supported with differentiated teaching as well as interventions. As for me personally, I am a faithful, determined person, who embarked the journey of teaching in hopes that all students, are able to feel seen, and find a role model who believes in their potential, and cares for their well being.

Dual Language Teacher

  • After having graduated from UNT Fall of 2020, I was fortunate to be able to get started with a third grade bilingual class for the spring semester. I spent that semester and another full year on the third grade team. This new school year, I received the opportunity to have the current position of a second grade dual language teacher. Here I was able to improve student language and develop lesson plans for both languages. Ensuring comprehensive teaching styles.

  • Student teaching was done at Christie Elementary in Frisco Texas. Had the opportunity to observe and co-teach with the third grade bilingual team lead for two semesters. This allowed me to expand my understanding of transferring and Bridging between two languages.

Front Desk Administrator

  • Began as a toddler teacher, working with children 15 months - 2 years of age.
  • After a few months, was able to move into a front desk administrator position. My task at hand was to ensure the safety of students as well as providing administrative support to the students and teachers throughout the academy. This was also a time where I developed strong relationships with parents by maintaining open lines of communication. Different tasks, such as coordinating meetings, events, and weekly schedules were also included.

  • As an activity specialist, it was my job to maintain group order, by establishing rule and expectations.
  • Within the assistant site manager position my responsibility was to create daily activities for the different grade levels as well as coordinate the weekly schedules.
  • The site manager position focused on parent communication as well as student positive reinforcement to better work with the different needs of students.
