provide direct care to patients who are preoperative and/or recovering from open heart and complex thoracic surgeries (CABG, valve replacements, esophagectomy, lobectomy), heart failure exacerbations and post-cardiac interventions (TAVR, PCI, ablation, pacemaker insertion)
monitor and telemetry, management chest tubes, TR bands, temporary pacemakers and multiple IV drips ( e.g. amiodarone, remodulin, dopamine)
