Registered nurse - Multidisciplinary Team

November 2019 - 2022:

• Evaluate and diagnose through telemedicine consultations aimed at internal clinic patients diagnosed with COVID-19, carrying out comprehensive care plans and follow-up in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Analysis and collection of data from medical records of patients with heart failure, heart transplant, disease, stroke, with multidisciplinary groups for research purposes.
• Realization of patient safety indicators, and updating of some institutional protocols for subsequent formulation of improvement plans at the level of hospitalization and emergency services.

Hospitalization service - General medical unit

2016 - 2019.

• Coordinate, evaluate and identify the health status of the patient (individual, family), and their problems or needs to make nursing plans in a rational, logical and systemic way, according to institutional medical protocols and records.
• Design, develop and execute nursing care plans, guaranteeing high-quality comprehensive care, through the management of the patient's clinical history, maintaining a nurse-patient therapeutic relationship.
• Lead hospital care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals (doctors, specialists, therapists, psychology, social work, support and logistics personnel), promoting and guaranteeing positive results in comprehensive care and provision of services to the patient and their family.
• Apply guidelines in accordance with institutional protocols, for the administration of intravenous therapies (medications), administration of nutrition (parenteral, enteral), transfusions (blood products), placement of medical devices (probes, drains), monitoring constants. vital signs, adverse reactions and/or possible complications during the different procedures, guaranteeing the safety and well-being of the patient.
• Provide information to patients and their families about the management of their diseases, medications, injuries, nutrition, device management, self-care and other indications for hospital discharge.

Health Auditor

• Lead qualification processes for service-providing institutions and health-promoting entities, in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
• Audits to improve quality in service-providing institutions in the public and private sector.
• Implementation, management and monitoring of the mandatory health quality assurance system in institutions providing health services.

Operating room (operative, intraoperative, postoperative)

• Evaluation of the surgical patient, developed a care plan to implement nursing interventions, in the preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phase, together with the other members of the surgery team to guarantee safe care.
• Ensure the surgical preparation of the patient prior to the intervention, evaluating medical records, providing education and preoperative support.
• Monitor the patient's vital signs, administer medications during surgery and in the recovery phase, evaluating possible adverse reactions.
• Educate the patient and their family about post-surgical care by following instructions, according to the surgical procedure performed.

Junior Health Auditor

• Management and development of risk matrix analysis at the level of the low-medium and high-complexity surgery area.
• Development and monitoring of quality indicators in care in surgical services.
• Design and implementation of improvement plans, shortcomings and weaknesses in the surgery service.
