Under the general direction of the Quality Manager, the qualified candidate will be responsible for performing analytical, chemical, and physical tests required for quality control of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods. The candidate will participate in investigations and studies to determine cause, effect, and corrective actions required to resolve deviation from quality standards. The candidate will also perform routine sampling and inspection of material. The employee will adhere to safety procedures, ensure a safe work environment, meet and/or exceed product quality expectations, and assist in achieving process reliability goals.
Set the speed of the divider to the required standard. Ensure that the scaling is accurate and is at the set standard. Scaling check needs to be done (3) times a dough, beginning, middle and end. Keep the dry proofer free of any old dough or debris. Monitor the dusting flour to ensure even distribution. Divider quality check sheets must be filled out properly. Ensure that all divider charts are filled out properly, and at every variety change over.
Operate HTST (High Temperature Short Time) units to produce required amount of product for production schedule. Also involves following formulas to pre-blend ingredients for pasteurization. Employee responsible for sanitation of equipment.
