Responsibilities include architecture and automation strategy for network management software in support of Federal Government clients. Daily responsibilities include Tier-4 support for Network Management tool suite. Develops and maintains custom Cross-Domain Data Delivery software used to troubleshoot and automate Enterprise Network Operations with a focus on supporting Data Architecture and Data Science initiatives. Builds proof-of-concept solutions leveraging COTS and Open Source software to satisfy customer driven initiatives.

Responsibilities include Information Technology architecture and solutions design in support of proposal offerings. Specific areas of competence include SecDevOps, Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud, Internet of Things (IoT), Infrastructure as Code (IAC), and Data Engineering.

Responsibilities include requirements gathering, design, testing, and maintenance of multiple large-scale SIGINT software applications in support of Federal Government clients.

• Performed SIGINT development utilizing proprietary tools that exploited wireless traffic traversing a wired network infrastructure. Utilized XKeyScore to create fingerprints and Wireshark, SQL, REGEX, Perl and Bash to test and validate custom software solutions.

Responsibilities include requirements gathering, design, implementation and maintenance of multiple large-scale multi-vendor Passive Optical Networks located in cleared and commercial environments. Provisions, tests and maintains enterprise-class products from Avaya, Cisco, Juniper, Motorola, Sun and Tellabs.

• Tasked to provide project management and technical leadership to ensure effective delivery of Passive Optical LAN solutions. Maintains and integrates servers, COTS software, databases, load testing tools, video, voice, as well as, LAN and WAN technologies.

Selected Accomplishments:

• Certified Passive Optical Engineer (Equivalent to a CCIE for PON) – 7 years hands-on PON expertise with 6 Passive Optical Network platforms (BPON & GPON) including Motorola, Alcatel and Tellabs.
• DHS Technology Integration Program (TIP) – Principal Network Engineer Transport – Tasked to architect, develop, test and implement the layer-2 network fabric (PON & ROADM) that encompassed 22 federal agencies with 14,000 end users.

Responsibilities included design, implementation and maintenance of multiple large-scale multi-vendor PON testbeds. Provisioned, tested and maintained carrier-class products from Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco, Juniper, Motorola, Nortel and Tellabs.

• Tasked to provide technical and project leadership within cross-functional teams to ensure proper resources were delivered in support of planning, implementation and general-availability phases of Verizon-FiOS business solutions.
• Performed complex testing and trouble reproduction in support of root cause analysis and field delivery initiatives. Initiated and analyzed PL/SQL reports to design and implement cost effective automation strategy. Maintained and integrated servers, COTS software, databases, automation & load testing tools, video, voice, as well as, LAN and WAN technologies.

Selected Accomplishments:

• Systems Analyst / Project Management – Provided architectural drawings, flow charts, implementation procedures and in-depth product knowledge for cross-functional initiatives. Managed vendors, internal customers, contractors, and financial requirements to successfully implement a $3.2 million FiOS interoperability lab in 45 Days.

Designed and validated hardware and software system solutions that tested Service Assurance within voice, DSL, ATM, TDM, and IP networks for all major telecommunications providers.

Selected Accomplishments:

• Quality Assurance – Spearheaded and implemented company’s first Systems Development QA Lab to support 300 developers and testers from 10 independent labs. Validated interoperability of numerous product offerings immediately prior to general availability; reduced product development cycle-times between 19%-50%.
• Automation Creation – Designed and implemented an automated cross-connect and application tool that configured, maintained and switched 11 miles of copper circuits to support numerous test and development initiatives. Tool reduced circuit configuration time from hours to seconds (factor of 3600).
• Instant Solutions – Created numerous proof-of-concept solutions, usually in less than 48-hours, to demonstrate the organizations technical ability and to motivate development and management teams.
• Product Management Specialist – Researched and analyzed business opportunities for 5 product lines while creating technology based solutions to address SDLC and customer needs. Crafted product requirements for hardware and software development groups; bridged communications between customers, executives, sales teams, product managers, developers and engineers to ensure a viable balance between product performance and business requirements.
