  • Led all aspects of Minnesota Hockey (USA Hockey affiliate) including operations, corporate partnerships, event & program planning, marketing, communications and budget management
  • Created a multi-platform strategic plan to ensure the continued long term growth of hockey in Minnesota and the overall success of Minnesota Hockey
  • O Minnesota’s 8 & Under player base grew from 16,142 in 2012-13 to over 17,500 in 2015-16, over800 in 2017-18 and over 19,000 in 2021-22, establishing state and national records each time
  • O Oversaw implementation of the Little Wild Learn to Play Program, which grew from eight Minnesota locations to 20, and has introduced more than 15,000 children aged 5-8 to hockey in 10 years
  • O Created the CCM High Performance Fall Tier 1 and Prospects League for boys and girls ages 13-18, which resulted in multiple national championships for Minnesota teams at various levels
  • O Led initiative to purchase 300 sets of Total Hockey QuickChange goalie gear for the distribution of two sets to every association in Minnesota, including a “Try Goalie” Distribution event in Duluth, Minnesota
  • O Spearheaded youth hockey initiatives with the Minnesota Wild including: Girls Hockey Weekend, Never

  • Led the organization’s efforts in navigating the COVID-19 pandemic and Return to Play efforts, which saw the return of players to the ice and the completion of the 2021 Region and State Tournaments
  • Headed negotiation efforts with the Minnesota Governor’s office and the Minnesota Department of Health to keep player and spectator safety at the forefront while getting kids back to competitive play
  • Implemented Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategic plan, including formation of a partnership with the University of Minnesota Sports Management department to launch the GIRSO social innovation competition in which student groups presented and helped implement their ideas to grow hockey among players in the BIPOC community
  • Grew staff from three to six, the hiring of a Manager of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, making Minnesota Hockey the first-ever USA Hockey affiliate to dedicate a full-time position to this initiative
  • Facilitated and led efforts, along with Minnesota Hockey and USA Hockey coaching leadership, to maintain and enhance Minnesota Hockey’s status as a top developer of elite hockey talent
  • That included expansion of CCM
  • Minnesota Hockey High Performance Spring Festivals and the formation of the CCM Minnesota Hockey High
  • Performance Tier 1 Leagues in 2016 and Prospects League in 2019
  • Restructured the organization’s entire communications plan including e-newsletter, social media, website redesign and entertainment features such as Minny Mites Mic’d Up and The Out of Town Tournament

  • Formed Minnesota Hockey’s Business Development Committee, and hired a Hockey Program manager to conduct new programs and events such as: Skill Clinics, Wild Mite Jamboree, Honor The Game Tournament, Ice Bowl

  • Established Minnesota Hockey Legacy Fund to support families and members of the Minnesota Hockey community experiencing hardships or tragedies
