- I was a member of one of the most successful teams in the building. I worked closely with individuals from four surrounding counties as we journeyed to maintain excellence. The value of teaming was demonstrated by superior state testing scores.
- During this time, I functioned in a leadership role as a liaison between teachers and administrators. It was my responsibility to organize meetings and ensure these meetings were running according to agendas I prepared.
- I also became acquainted with many educators during my employment. Through my department, I developed precise and meaningful lesson plans which were shared throughout the building. My expertise was sought out by seasoned and new teachers.
- During this time I also managed a variety of opinions and behaviors by mediating situations when they arose.
