Glenda Schofield

Recently retired from the University of Colorado on the CU Boulder Campus where I served in several financial and purchasing related positions over 24 years as a part of the University Memorial Center administration. The UMC is the Student Union on the CU Boulder Campus. I was Initially hired as Vault Cashier, progressed through several Accounting Tech levels culminating as a Financial and Program Manager overseeing daily financial tasks and processes associated with the daily operation of the building, and the student supporting programs housed within.

Served as a catering captain and day of family liaison at a family owned wedding venue. Duties included overseeing all aspects of the wedding day including venue set-up for both ceremony and reception, food service, coordination of outside vendors.

Highlights include:

• Primary coordinator of school carnival fundraiser for 5 years.
• Girl Scout Summer Camp Director for over 100 participants.

Performed all tasks associated with a financially successful small home based business. Designed, made and sold hand-made children's clothing. Tasks included sourcing wholesale suppliers, qualifying for local and national juried craft and art markets and working with retail outlets.
