Glenn Burton

Deputy from 2007 until 2012. Promoted to Sergeant in 2012. Worked in the Patrol Division where I was responsible for scheduling personnel. Also responsible for the training and providing supervision to all of my deputies.

Transferred to the Judicial division where I was responsible for training and supervision of my deputies. Backed up on medical calls and oversaw the entrance and exit of fire and medical personnel. Retired from TCSO in 2024.

From July 1986 until 2006 was a patrol officer, and detective with the North Richland Hills Police Department. Did normal patrol duties of providing professional assistance to any and all citizens.

As a Detective I started in general case assignment and promoted to Homicide where I investigated and completed 4 homicide cases that ended in prison time for the defendant.Retired from NRH in 2006.

• Responded to emergency calls for service and provided assistance as needed.
• Prepared detailed reports on incidents and arrests made.
• Conducted traffic stops in accordance with departmental protocol.
• Maintained order during civil disturbances or protests.
• Provided security at public events such as parades, concerts, or sporting events.
• Investigated suspicious persons or activities to determine if criminal activity was present.
• Monitored radio transmissions from dispatch regarding reported crimes or emergencies.
