i trained new employees on my job as unit "A" operator in Gas Plant and Alkylation units. I then bid into weld shop and spent two years fabbing all types of piping and structural steel from blue prints.. Bid into Oil Movements where i spent 20 plus years. I excelled at all types of piping lineups to feed Lube units and receive product back to tankage. Loaded tank trucks and barges across wharf from lube tankage.

Fire Fighter. High Angle Rope Recue Tech and lead entrant and Medic for team and on my shift. Captain over all refinery Fire Apparatus. Numerous fire schools along with limited class room and field work on dealing with and putting out LNG fire at Texas A&M Fire school

Retired in September 2009, called back for project work in 2013 to work in Major Projects Group.

First project was to walk down and red line laser scanned P&IDs for the entire refinery. Almost 3 Years.

Second project was to help deign and oversee building a new system to offload Two different GTL product from wharf to Lube tankage. Trained all Operators on use and safety aspects of this system. Approx 2 1/2 years.

Third project was a complete new 260,000 BD Crude Unit along with all associated piping and Tankage. Worked as advisor/Safe work Permit issuer and oversee that contractors were following all safety procedures. Worked this project from ground up to commissioning of all offsite piping and tankage. 3 years.

Have 42 years experience in all refinery products from Ethan to Crude Oil.
